The above video is just an overview of the things that you should do to promote and grow your Instagram account. You can build your account manually or you can use a bot, but before we get into that we are going to talk about the things that you can do.

Instagram is a social network that focuses, primary, on image and video sharing and is designed to share experiences in these media with your friends. People can discover you on Instagram and start following you. Some people with personal accounts are not really keen on being easily discovered, but you are promoting your business so you must be easily to discover. The following are the steps that you can take, that will take you only a few minutes.

1. Put your blog link in your profile and make sure that you have a profile picture, for starters. Write a short description in your bio, make it fun and catchy as much as you can, but keep it's instructions to the user to click on the link very clear. This is called call to action.

You will find that some people will follow you back or even click on your link, you can set up an autoresponder, but services like this are usually paid so you will have to respond manually to people who follow by welcoming them. This puts a bit of a personal touch and you can even send a link along with your welcome message.

4. Like people's posts and comment on some as well. This can be done manually or can be automated using a bot. You can do this about 10 to twenty times a day. It is all about consistency.

5. Use hashtags. To get the right Instagram hashtags you can google for a hashtag generation tool, there are plenty free tools out there. Hashtags are like keywords and will make your post easily discovered by people who are not following you. I have discovered that people will always follow you based on certain keyword and may even be interested in you product.

The most important thing, of course, is to post regularly in your blog and share your blog posts using Instagram.
